Chris, there are LOTS of things you can do with raspberries, from making jam to topping them on vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of Chambord/raspberry liqueur. For using a high volume with only a little effort, I'd recommend baking them into muffins. That way you can freeze them and microwave individually for a quick breakfast or snack throughout the year. I'll look into some recipes...

It's okay if the pasta sinks to the bottom. Just make sure to dig it up when you ladle it into bowls. Otherwise, you'll get brothy bowls at the beginning and pasta-only bowls at the end.
As for other types of lettuce... The farmer suggested endive, but spinach and arugula are also favorites for wedding soup. It's going to cook for a long time, so whatever type of lettuce you use, it should be hardy.

On the Wedding Soup picture there's a note that says, "the pasta sank to the bottom". Is it supposed to do this? Also, what is a good substitute for dandelion greens in the soup? Will any green leaf lettuce work?

Any thoughts on what I can do with all of my wild raspberries that are coming in? Also, is this the correct page to ask questions on, or is there someplace else in the blog where I can go?
